Welcome to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page. Below, we have tried to answer the most common questions visitors to this our Web site may have.

1. How long will it take?

With the high pressure equipment we use it takes a fraction of the time that would be required by a domestic jet-washer. The high-tech design of our low level rotary cleaner keeps the mess under control and away from adjacent areas. Areas of 200 to 400 square metres can be completed in a day, although a follow up visit may be required to brush in the sand. If the application of a sealant is ordered this normally requires a second visit to apply the sealant.

2. How much will it cost for cleaning and if required re-sanding?

This depends on the surface area to be cleaned and for driveways and as an example an average 2 car driveway will cost in the region of £100.00 for cleaning.

There is however a minimum charge of £75.00.

Please note that all quotations which involve a visit to make an assessment, are given free of charge.

3. How long does the sealing last?

Depending on local conditions, the acrylic sealant last 1 to 3 years between re-treatments and the pre-polymer urethane sealant typically double this time. 4. Are oil stains completely removed?

In most cases they can be nearly completely removed, but in severe cases where the stains have been in place a long time it may be necessary to treat the area with a sealant after cleaning, to blend out any small residual stains. The picture sequence on the right of this text shows the oil stain and then the cleaned surface prior to blending out the residual discolouration with a sealant. The end result after using the sealant is shown in the driveway picture above.

5. Is this business a franchise?
